The East Coast is experience what we in the West Coast know all too well. Wildfires can reek serious havoc on life. N95 masks aren’t just for COVID, it sadly becomes a part of everyday life when the smoke is at its worst. But, this is the future. No one likes this. In fact, even the people that don’t believe in climate change don’t like it.

This country has sadly hemmed and hawed for far too long about the causes of climate change. It’s irrefutable that human’s are the driver and it’s on us to make the changes needed if we want to inhabit the planet in the future. The planet will be just fine without us. As we saw during COVID, when left alone the planet can heal itself rapidly.

I don’t wish that more people need to deal with surging seas, wildfire smoke, or crazy temperatures. Yet, this is sometimes the only way to open people’s eyes to the real problem. I just hope that the realization comes with enough time to do something about it.
