Imagine this, you can get a full tire rotation, even get some sweet new rims, AND get some amazing Mexican food. Well, that’s where life took me today. I’m OK making risky food choices when it comes to Mexican food. All those years in San Diego have allowed me to overlook B and lower grades by the health department.

This shop got their start when the grandmother brought in tamales for her family running the tire shop. What started as a small cooler has turned into a full-blown restaurant. Honestly, the best tamale I’ve ever had in my life.

I’m not saying that you’re going to find Michelin stars popping up on joints like this. I’m just asking folks to give it a chance and buy local. All the chains will be just fine without you.
